A while ago, I mentioned to my girlfriend that I had a big exam today.

This morning, I received a text from her wishing me good luck and ending with "I love you so much". I just found out she was rushed into hospital at 5 AM and asked her friend to send the text for her.

Today I was talking to my friend about her neighbor, who is and old lady and widowed.

She informed me that the old lady's husband died 9 years ago. But every saturday she recieves a rose from her dead husband. Before the man died, he arranged for her to get a rose every saturday. He had been doing this since they began dating.

Last year, my grandpa had to go on dialysis for kidney failure.

He's required to sleep sitting up, but decided to forego the adjustable single bed across the hall for a stiff recliner in my grandparents' bedroom. He refused to sleep without his wife. We bought them an adjustable double, and now they squeeze in together.

I found out that every first Saturday of the month, for the past 30 years, my grandma has driven two hours just to put flowers on her late husbands grave.

When I found him, in a panic I called his boyfriend. His boyfriend carried him to the hospital, stayed there every day and night, and kissed his every scar when he woke up.
