Today, I was at the store with my mom.
A little boy and who I presume to be his dad, come walking down the aisle, holding hands. The boy was describing the store to him, telling him how wonderful it was.
The dad was blind.
Little boys with love for their parents no matter the disability GMH.

I was on the phone with my long-distance boyfriend last night.
I was getting really tired, so I told him I'd go to sleep. He wanted to stay on the phone with me, so we both put it on speaker and tried to fall asleep.
I was half asleep when I heard him whisper "I love you, angel."

I told my best friend one day "I wish there were more men like you."
His reply...
"I wish there were more women like you. Wait...no I don't, because then I would be in love with more women than just you, and I would not want that."
Your LGMH.

My mom has Fibromyalgia.
It's an illness that has no external symptoms and you look completely fine. In reality, I can't even hug my mom without it hurting her.
But everyday, through the agonizing pain and flair ups, my mother hugs my younger brother and I and tells us that she is the luckiest woman in the world.
Mom, your strength and LGMH.

My family is pretty standard. No cute proposals, no miraculous recovery from disease.
But I am transgendered. And my big brother has never once thought me freakish for it. Instead, he helped me learn to accept myself and get through the dysphoria.
I couldn't ask for a better brother. His LGMH.
