When my grandma was in the hospital, my grandpa would visit her everyday.
One day, I went with him.
She was allowed to walk around, but had to bring a mini heart monitor and other necessaries.
Before we left, my grandpa walked up to her to kiss her, and the heart monitor went crazy.
Their love at 57 years is still going strong.

When I was 10, a boy asked me to play ball.
We did everyday after that.
One day he forgot his mitt. I let him borrow mine and he promised he would give it back.
11 years later he was my best friend. He gave me my mitt back and said try it on there was a ring in one of the fingers and a note attached it said marry me.
I did.

I was out to lunch with my mom, when I looked to the side and saw an old couple and their family.
The older women had a oxygen tank, while her husband had a cane.
No matter how much it hurt him to bend down, he carried her oxygen tank, and linked arms with each other. Their love GMH.

When I was young, I had a crush on my best friend.
Everyone said the same thing: "Don't go for your best friends, it leads in heart break, and a loss of friendship."
My mom said "Your father was my best friend, and we've been together 22 years. Go for it."
I married that boy yesterday, and my mother just said "I told you."

You've been more than just my best friend since I was 12.
You've guided me through childhood molestation, my father's death, anorexia, depression, self-injury and the lifelong physical and mental abuse from my mother.
Now, we're in college with dreams bigger than Jupiter. Your LGMH in the world.
