At first glance, he might seem like an angry, hateful 17 year old boy.

Today, he broke down into emotional sobs of frustraition because he couldn't describe how much he loves me.

I had ear surgery, and my boyfriend, told me if I could never hear again, he'd learn sign language and practice it every day for the rest of the summer until he was good enough.

My brother died 3 years ago.

I never knew he loved me until I read his letter a few days afterwards.

He said he loved so much and that I was the best sister ever, and told me to keep living no matter how hard life got.

He was shot through the head and died instantly, but he gave me enough time to get away.

I only recently told my fiance about him.

Today, I was inside of a store on Main Street, the busiest stretch of town, staring out of the storefront window at the rain.

Through the downpour ran two laughing, smiling teenaged boys, hand-in-hand.

Being proud of who they are and not caring what other people think of their LGMH.

I was in a hospital one day when a heavily pregnant lady walked in.

She was pleading with the doctor for a c-section.

He accepted and hours later she came out with her baby running down the hall into a room were a man who had hours to live lay and placed the baby in his arms.

The man got 1 hour with his new baby daughter and wife until he passed... LGMH

I was visiting him in the nursing home shortly after his 89th birthday.

He held both my hands in his, opened his eyes and very clearly sang the song " Have I Told You Lately That I Love You?"

Those were his last words to me and last gift.

I'm a devout Catholic, but our different beliefs didn't stop me from falling in love with him, and him with me.

After we started dating, he told me, "I know God is real now, because our meeting couldn't be an accident."
